So we have been quite busy in the past month. We have been settling in well with our new family member and have been having a blast with our family.

Mackenzie had a field trip to the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch with her class.

Mackenzie’s Nana and Paw Paw came for a visit! Mackenzie had a blast shopping with Nana and got her a fancy new pair of Ugg Boots.

Mackenzie’s Mee Mee and Grandpa Dan also came in for a visit and took Mackenzie trick or treating.

Here she is! Taylor Paige Ginn was born Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:24pm. Delivery was much easier this time and so far things are going really well at home. Mackenzie is being a great big sister and is really enjoying her little sister. Please check the photo gallery for plenty of pictures by clicking here. Mackenzie had her first day of Tap & Ballet class tonight. She was a little hesitant at first but once she saw her friend Henley there and started her class she did great! Here are a few pictures from our night.

Last weekend we went to Columbia, SC for the day to celebrate Jackson’s birthday!!! It is hard to believe the little guy is already 3 years old! Mackenzie had a blast playing on the playground and having cake at the party. Here are some pics from our day.

We got home today and found a package from Mackenzie’s cousin, Jackson, on our doorstep. The package was addressed to Baby Taylor. Since there was no telling what a three year old boy could be mailing the soon to be new addition to the family, I grabbed the camera.

Christmas in August? Nope, but a safe bet that Jackson picked out the wrapping

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Jackson picked out the box too!

Mystery solved! Jackson has mailed his pacifier's to the baby.

We are proud of you Jackson, we are also proud of your parents! Giving up the pacifier was a true test for Mackenzie and us! For the two weeks after, I thought we had a small bear in our house instead of the Mackenzie we knew before. Hopefully that is just a girl thing and Jackson has totally forgotten about this special golden package and it’s contents! The next question I have is when Baby Taylor does arrive and Jackson meets her for the first time what exactly will Jackson think? “So this is the broad that took my paci’s?” or perhaps “I will let it slide this time Taylor, but don’t even think about touching my truck collection.”

Regardless, we are proud of you and love you. Good Job Jackson!

This weekend we went to a birthday party for Mackenzie’s friends Ella and Liam. Mackenzie had a great time swimming, eating pizza, singing happy birthday and eating cupcakes! Here are a few pictures from the party.

Today we went to Edisto Beach, SC for a day trip. Our friends Carla and Eddie rented a house for the week and invited us to come down for the day. It was our first time to go to Edisto and it was a cool little town. Here are some pictures from our day, for more check the gallery.
